plants to put on a deck trellis

i have a large deck area and on one side i have larger posts connected with trellis. I am wondering what kind of plants /flowers would be nice. the area is north east facing getting morning sun can be quite windy as live on the coast and would like something that is low maintenance but lovely flowers and definitely not ivy. any ideas ?????

Did you want climbers for the trellis? Will they be in pots? Morning sun only can be a bit tricky but Morning Glory should be OK as that's when it flowers. But it is grown as an annual as it's frost tender. Clematis aren't usually keen on north east but some should be OK. Here is a site that could help you choose.
