Can i move an honesty that is in flower?

i know that I shouldn’t, but I have one large white honesty plant right in front of where I want to make my new compost area. I’m keen to keep it because all the other honesty in my garden is purple. Could I move it once it’s gone to seed? Or do I have to just work carefully around it?

They don’t respond well to being moved, Best sown where they are to flower.
i wouldn’t move it, you can wait until it’s set seeds later in the year or I can send you some white seeds to sprinkle where you want them to bloom.

If you want the seed it would be a bit risky but if you have good soil  (not clay or anything solid) you might get away with it if you take a large rootball and don't let it fall apart

They have a long tap root and don't like being moved, so it will be chancy.  I sometimes get away with moving them as small seedlings, but not always (I like the variegated white-flowered one  near darker plants so I often try moving some of those, but I hedge my bets by leaving some alone as well).

They are pretty @JennyJ. Does it come true from seeds, if so I would love some later on if you wouldn’t mind.

They seem to come true (I have the green-leaved white one and the purple ones as well).  I always leave some to self-sow, so remind me when it's seeding time and I'll collect some for you.
It's this one (I think there's one with a more "splashy" variegation).
