i would say its been too wet for far too long and the root have started dying back,
i don't water mine at all from October till March, it got a soak at the end of March and it won't get watered again till May when it goes out into the garden for its summer holiday until it comes inside in September.
it will also take as much sun as you can give it at this time of the year, however it needs protecting from the full heat of the sun between June and August

I would re pot it into slightly damp and put it not in full sun to give it chance to get those new roots going. Mine is in a pot near the patio windows at this time of year to give it max sunlight and I do the same as treehugger80 re watering. Over watering of this plant will eventually kill it. When a piece is broken of it will rout itself, I have a piece that fell of down into the large pot that it's pot was standing in and the grew without water at all.

You can see the new rot I'll pot this up day in slightly damp compost and put it in a bright but not full sunny place.
