What tree is this?

Hi, can someone help me identify this tree please?  We have just bought this house and we’re about to cut everything down but this tree is popular with birds etc hence must now stay. However we would love to know what we are adopting into our planned cottage garden. Thanks in advance.

    I agree. It was going to stay after seeing it but I wondered what it was. :-)
