Tulip and Daffodil bulbs

AaronBilAaronBil Posts: 97
Hello, First post for me - what a great site.

I potted up some daffodil and tulips in the autumn last year and they've come up really nice.
They are in the process of fading but I'm really not sure that to do next.

1. Can I just leave them in the pots and they'll come out again next year?

2. When the foliage fades should I take all the bulbs out and try and dry / store them for planting later in the year?

3. Should I try and plant out the contents of the pots into the boarders - are they likely to pop up next year?

4. Is it always worth just getting fresh bulbs each year?

Thank you!

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
Daffs will come back year after year, some tulips do, but not many of them . If you have room , leave them for a year and see if they come back .
Don't forget to water and feed the daffs as the flowers fade, that's when when they're preparing the bulbs for flowers next season.
