 Saw this pretty plant at Exbury Gardens in the New Forest. Can someone identify it for me please.

    Tulip. I think it's Tulipa turkestanica

    +1 for Tulipa turkestanica. I like those botanical tulips a lot, they come out quite early and do not disappear after a couple of years like many hybrid tulips. Here are mine:
