Plant ID Please

Would love to know what this is, it's very pretty!  Looks like it was a small tree/large shrub that was cut back.

    It could be Abeliophyllum Distichum, the White Forsythia.

    Thank you!  I was going to cut it completely down as I thought it was dead, so glad I waited as it is stunning.

    I think it's an Amelanchier, don't cut it down. Has lovely autumn colour.
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
