Roses - has anyone else noticed..?

Has anyone else noticed how much more lush the growth of roses is this year?
Please say it's the weather as I used a different fertiliser this year and I've thrown away the container! Anyway, I only added it a few weeks ago.
In London. Keen but lazy.

  • Well, I’m a novice when it comes to roses but was given a David Austin voucher for Christmas so have planted three and all are doing incredibly well.  One called ‘The Pilgrim’ looks amazing already and yes, the growth is lush.  I did add the mycorrhizal fungi and assumed it was that .... maybe it is the weather? 🌹
  • All my roses look very healthy and plenty of new growth B3, I have given them blood, fish and bone recently and horse manure in the Autumn.

Same here, but mine are all pretty young, so could be down to them maturing a bit, could be the weather - we had a gloriously warm February and everything was wanting to grow. They got manure in Autumn, recently got DA rose feed and mulched again with ericaceous compost as part of blanket mulch programme. Many have flower buds and one or two bloomed already! This is Lady Emma Hamilton, looking particularly lush:
