It’s fractionally earlier than the last couple of years ... it’s usually in full bloom by the last week in April
Excuse the lumps of kitchen foil ... there’s a fat wood pigeon who keeps landing on the finer branches in an attempt to eat the blossom and he’s snapped a couple of branches ... fortunately he’s scared of kitchen foil. 😆

@Dovefromabove I was just going to ask, as I could not figure out what it was. That's a lovely one. Much as I like birdies I would be doing the same. I flapped a white chopping board at two the other day jumping and flapping all over my troughs.
I think with Amelanchiers or anything really it depends on the siting and microclimates within our gardens which makes for the discepancies in flowering times. Happy gardening Ronsevers
