Wisteria question

Does anybody know if these are foliage or flower buds for a wisteria?

They are flower buds, on some varieties they flower before the leaves come out
  • This makes me happy.  I followed the pruning advice last summer and back in Jan/Feb and have a tonne of these on my wisteria back home :-)

I find pruning really helps with the flowering, so good decision, they are spectacualr in full bloom!

I think it's going to be a very good year for wisteria blooms, they must have liked last year's heat.
