Should I buy one Fertilizer Spreader? Or not?

Recently, I have realized the grass in my garden turned into yellow because I used overloaded fertilizers for it. Thus, I wonder that I should buy Fertilizer Spreader, which helps the number of fertilizers is more balanced. But I am afraid that it isn't necessary. Anyone has experiences who can give me some advices?

grass seems to grow OK without fertilizers which would eliminate the need for anything to spread it

I never fertilize my grass. It only makes it grow more, then we have to mow it more.

I think you should just stop fertilizing it
  • ok. Thank you guys Now I get what is my problem. Instead of buying a Fertilizer Spreader, I should stop fertilizer lawn right?

Get some rabbits. They'll mow the lawn and fertilise at the same time.

Well guinea pigs are less prone to digging but if you're happy to fill in the odd hole then rabbits are the way forward in my opinion.
