Hello , Please can anyone tell my if there is an annual climber that will be happy to grow in a shady spot. Thanks.

    If it gets some sun for part of the day, you could try Asarina

  • Thank you, I will look for that. The are does get sun later in the afternoon but the trellis is north facing. I have tried climbing hydrangeas, also some variegated ivy but they have hardly done anything. However on one end of the space is a jasmine and it has grown strong but it is in a bush form. Periwinkles grow well on the ground, also some Hellebores but against the trellis is a real problem. Thanks for your suggestion.
