Tools and techniques
I have a Titan scarifier that has become really really noisy and I have no idea how to solve the problem. It seems to run too fast and screams so loud that I can’t use it. Any ideas please?

Does it actually still work? If the motor is running very fast could it be something as simple as a snapped drive belt?

Agree, does sound like a drive belt problem. If not snapped, it may just have stretched with use and in need of replacement.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Thanks for the suggestions. Have not had time to open it up yet. However machine still seems to work alright so the belt must be driving it.

Could be the belt slipping rather than snapped as it's still working. That may still be putting stress on the motor and could shorten its life.
