Growing grass in shady areas?

I'm looking to grow some grass around my walls and I didn't have much look last year with the seed I put down.

Looking for some advice on what to use to grow grass in shady areas.

Thanks so much!

Buy a seed mix that's for shader areas (bearing in mind that grass really isn't happy in deep shade, and the types that will cope with some shade tend to be the finer, less hard wearing types). Or choose something other than grass, maybe a strip of paving or bark chippings adjacent to the wall of the raised bed.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

I think there is certain grass seed that does better in shady areas.
