Petunia Tidal Wave Red Velour

bobloesbobloes Posts: 134
Hi All,  Last week's Gardener's World showed this petunia growing to about 10 feet.  Cannot find it other than an 'F1' variety which apparently only grows to 30 cms.  Anyone know where it is available?  Thanks

Have a scan through this thread, you may find some seeds somewhere.

Thanks have been to all those sites before but am still not convinced the F1 variety will grow to the heights indicated in the programme.  Cheers

Glad I held back for your advice - I have enough plants at that level.  Maybe I will have to watch again in case I misunderstood.  Cheers

I was surprised by the 10ft claim too.

I discover that Peter has a load of Red Velour Tidal Wave large plugs going here, if you're still looking. I'll feed and train mine up and see how high we can go. They showed very tall specimens on the show, so it is possible.

GW said it was the thunbergia and asarina that got to ten ft, not the Red Velour. (Min 17.09)
