I am looking for a good cropper that I can grow in a hanging basket . Any ideas please ?

  • I grow Cambridge favourite in hanging baskets, never had a problem with them and very good croppers.

Thank you Brickman. It is so many years since I have grown strawberries . I grew them in the ground .So your recommendation is very useful . I was actually looking at Cambridge online yesterday . That’s the one i will try.

I have Elsanta, Rubee, and although I've never grown them in baskets, they do well in troughs and pots, so I think you might get away with them. They're also good croppers.

You could always use a plastic liner of some kind with a few holes in it, so that the plants don't dry out quickly.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
