Butterfly Bush or Lavatera

Hi, ive got a space at the top of my garden for a flowering shrub and I am fancying either Butterfly Bush or Lavatera, or maybe something similar any advice welcome. Area is sheltered and South/West facing with sun then dappled shade after 3pm in summer. Thanks

    The position sounds OK for either. It depends which you like the look of best. I like variegated weigelas with pink flowers, I also have the two you mention, just personal taste.
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
