Verbena Bon.

I have some of the above in small pots in the greenhouse. They are about 5 inches tall and have roots coming out of the bottom. Can I plant them out now? I live in the south east.

First they need to be acclimatized to outdoor conditions. If you have a cold frame, you could leave them in there for about 10-14 days. They should be fine to plant out then.
If not, then leave them somewhere sheltered outside for 10-14 days and only bring them in at night if a frost is forecast

They self-seed freely here and I get hundreds of them popping up everywhere (even in the lawn!) Last years plants are shooting and some seedlings are starting to appear

I would re-pot them on as they sound as if they a root bound and this will also encourage more top growth. They are not the hardiest of plants but as Pete as stated they will reseed everywhere to give you new plants. I would leave them in your greenhouse for now as the warmer condition there will give you bigger plants. Bring them out in the day to acclimatise until the weather is less possible frost.
