Growing Rocket Indoors

Hi,
I am investigating how to grow rocket indoors for my Design Technology GCSE. Does anyone have any tips on growing salad indoors (eg. in a kitchen)? Have you every grown plants indoors? What were your experiences? Thanks in advance for your help!

You need a seed tray filled with multipurpose compost. Sprinkle the seeds on the surface so they are about 1 cm apart.  Water in. If you have a clear plastic lid, fine,  but if not give it a mist once a day. They will germinate in a couple of days on a windowsill and ready for cutting after three weeks. Just cut off what you need with scissors. If you are careful and cut the outside leaves off , you will get fresh leaves for three weeks or so. Start a new tray when you start cutting.

Good question, as above make sure you put it on a windowsill, get a good compost, and water it regularly (to keep the compost moist) - it's a good one to grow as it can be ready in as little as 30 days or so - we wrote about it on our hobby site https://growfruitandvegindoors.com/
