What is this please.....?

This has started growing out of a crack between the wall and paving. I'm guessing it's come from the tree in the second picture? I'm not sure what either thing is and was wondering if someone could help. I'm guessing I should probably pull the small one up but am loathe to do so as it is nice to look at.

I think it's a Cordyline Australis. Never seen it growing through a gap like that though. Looks nice.

Agree with Borderline and AnniD. We thought we had lost our's three years ago so chopped it down or so we though. Lots of little one cam up from the old trunk so I dug down and got them out. I have about 7 to give to family and friends this year. It will eventually flower with masses of little flowers at the top of the plant.
  • Thank you all for the help. This was my first post and it's a lovely forum.
