anyone know that this is? I had it last year, waited for it to flower, and I don’t think it did. It’s spreading now so I expect I need to dig it up.

    At first glance l thought they were hellebore seedlings, but if it's one big clump, then maybe not...

    That was my first thought as well, then it became clear that they weren't

    don't be too quick to remove it. It isn't any weed that I recognise and nobody else has IDd it as a weed

    If you can get a piece out, it may help.

    I don’t think I got much root, it’s snapping off something fleshy and brittle. Only had a trowel with me, it’s quite deep.

    Is there any possibility that it's this? I'm not convinced, but as I walked by it this morning I was struck by some resemblance.
