Hi. Anyone know what this is? Low, leggy plant. Not sure what it looks like the rest of the year, but this is the leaves and cones or seedpods(?) at the moment. Thanks.
I think Callistemon, commonly called Bottle brush. Normally a taller plant, could it be a young one or been cut back? Anymore seed pod stems with lots more closer tightly packed?
I've just been out for another look (flu day so didn't spend long out earlier!). It's tangled in with lots of other shrubs crowding it out, but bits of it are around a metre high and some parts have more seedpods.
