Gardenline electric scarifier

in Plants
Hi all,
Does anyone have one of these? Lawn is full off moss and is north east facing. I was thinking of buying one of these to use 2 or 3 times a year. Has 3 year warranty so thought i'd give it a go. Would be interested to hear if anybody has used one from aldi.
Thanks

If it’s got a reliable guarantee I’d go for it.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
In the autumn we give it another session with the moss rake fitment then a good going over with the bladed scarifier fitment to help the lawn drain over the winter. Seems to work for us ... good luck and let us know how you get on

me too. I bought the Titan version, circa £40 area, a few years back, still working okay and yes it looks extremely alike the one now on sale at Aldi.
and like you Dove, i can spend £20 on moss killer etc and wait a few weeks for blackening, but frankly seems to make little difference.
what i would add, is that i always have a tendency to go too deep with the machine and cause far too many gaps for too long into the season.
and finally......any reader be warned, the machines remove a massive amount of thatch and moss, so it's back breaking work. you can generally go about two foot before the bag is full and needs you to bend/empty....it's slow and painful job if you have a bad back already, but by heck the grass looks a lot better for it.
