    If it is I didn't put them there Berghill. Do they seed about at all? I have one of two though not close by. Those lumpy  bits do look like that though. Thanks :)

    Agree Day Lily, if you didn’t plant them they must have self seeded.  Once established you need a pick axe to get them out, every time we think we’re on top of then, they pop up again. 
    Weve thrown them on the grass verge outside,  they take, no soil just seem to flourish on nothing.

    they're not going to be anything special if they're seedlings are they, Lyn? I might just dump and be done with it

    Why not just stick them in a plastic pot and see if they produce anything interesting this summer? If you forget to water them & they shrivel away to nothing you've lost nothing - on the other hand they might be a really nice colour....

    Maybe a new variety...

    Might make you a fortune....🙂

    They will be the plain old yellow one probably, but who knows, you may get a coloured one.  I’m not sure they will suit your garden though.

    no, the ones I have don't look right except I like the cream one
