Tree ID please

The big tree in front is a Magnolia, but I'm curious about the one behind just breaking into blossom. An ornamental cherry maybe? 
Not much to go on I know, but would appreciate any suggestions

Sorry to disagree with you nutcutlet.

But zooming in I believe I can see thorns.

White flowers/ early flowers/ thorns ...Prunus spinosa...blackthorn or sloe.

Yes, Blackthorn, I've been admiring one today, the thorns give it away.

Yes, there are thorns. 
It is fragrant too, although TBF I'm not sure whether this is from mine or the neighbour's...
Not noticed any berries last year, i'll look out for them this year.

I am trying hard to accept that tree in the OP as Blackthorn but it's not going very well

Blackthorn is small tree in pic 1.with a few white flowers

When I enlarge pic 1.... in the bottom right hand side I can see the thorns.

Although websites disagree with me,  I’m positive that I’ve known some old wild bullace trees to have a few thorns ... and bullace blossom is like that of wild cherry/blackthorn/blackjack ...

yes, mine have thorns and are flowering now, looking just like those in the photo. more sparse than Blackthorn
