wisely beacon

Hello, everyone!

On the following page at this site, a variety of poppy, wisely beacon, is mentioned:

Can anyone tell me where on the Internet I can find seeds for wisley beacon and purchase them with U.S. currency?  Thanks!

    Nope, I can’t see anything.

Maybe write to RHS Wisley and ask them, since it’s named after them they might know.
Apophthegm -  a big word for a small thought.
If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.

these are cultivars of Papaver orientale and can only be reproduced by splitting a plant or by root cuttings. Seedlings will not come true and you won't find them stocked by seed merchants because of that.

@lornagoon54 According to the RHS, it was last listed in their Plant Finder in 2014. You could put a request on the Seed and cuttings swop thread to see if anyone has one and is willing to send some root cuttings for you.
