Anyone who starts a thread with Hi Guys should be automatically....

I loathe the expression, with considerable passion!
Why not address people, including men, as Sheilaghs?
I don't love it either, but I would love a new all-embracing greeting: Hi Sheilaghs!!  <3 Or even Sheilas- or any other spelling version one might choose!
Do you think the chaps might object?  ;)

Hopefully, just as much as they object  to women being called "guys". ;)

It’s not really that I object, as a female, to being called a guy ... it’s the term ‘hi guys’ and all it denotes about the speaker ... it grates in my ears even when used to address men 🙄

Agree Dove. Desperately unprofessional in so many situations.  :/
