Peperomia Polybotrya breaking leaves

I have Peperomia Polybotrya in my office and sometimes a leaf breaks off. The leaves are strong and look perfectly healthy. The stem looks like cut with a scalpel close to the actual leaf. Do I accidentally break the leaves? Because I never noticed breaking them. Or does the plant do it somehow? I put the leaves in water and let them root, but I would prefer them stay on the original plant.

  • Pepperomias are a type of succulent so they can be quite brittle ... maybe they are being accidentally knocked by you or someone ...  cleaners dusting maybe?

  • I never thought about the cleaners and I think that might as well be it! I will try moving the plant to a safer spot. Thank you very much.
