Taller growing Chaenomeles?

Any one can recommend a variety of the flowering quince that grows taller and not so bushy. I had x superba in my last garden, it flowered well and was healthy but only stayed low to the ground and had a bushy form. I'm wondering if there is a more upright form that someone would recommend. Thanks

I have the white Chaenomeles speciosa 'Nivalis' which is more small-tree-like in growth and reminds me of hawthorn.  It is more vigorous than x superba.  However, they are all rather untidy and spreading in habit as well as being very slow growers (10+ years to a mature height of up to 2m but by then they would be 4m wide if left to their own devices!)
