Fiddle leaf fig going brown

My fiddle lead fig has started to go brown, Quite a few of the leaves are affected. I started to water it less to let it dry out before each watering but it hasn’t helped. It’s affecting new and old leaves. It’s an a bedroom, by a window. I neee help saving it!

It has photos indicating how root rot, dryness and bacteria materialise as brown spots.
