Bare root perennials

I was looking at this offer (https://hayloft.co.uk/product/echinacea-breeders-mix/br24b17-e875) and wondering if, generally, bare root perennials would be expected to flower in the first year?

  • Echinacea are supposed to flower from seed in the first year quite reliably. So I'm sure a decent bare root would.

Theyll be fine but if they deliver now you will have to pot them up and keep in the GH until frost are over, plant out around beginning of June, they will have made stronger plants by then and may be more robust to resist slugs, they love them.
