they'll carry on growing with shorter leaves. Muntjac eat the tips of my bluebells every year and they have flat ends to the leaves but otherwise the same

Ohhh nutcutlet, melted heart here. Do you know when it was born , how old it is?

Sorry Bluebaron,  As long as the squirrels have not nibbled them or knocked more than the leaf tips off they should still flower. As nutcutlet said they should be fine.
It is if they have damaged further down or eaten the core with the bud in that is not so good.
If they are mostly okay and go on to flower just make sure you give them some feed and extra tlc after flowering if the leaves are damaged, to help them build back up.

Good luck then Bluebaron some pictures or update might be nice if you remember it will give others a comparison to look at.

Nutcutlet thanks, that's lovely, then he/she wont get much bigger? Just lose that "baby" look :)

he or she is considerably smaller than mum, they appear on videos together. If the site could take vids I'd post one.
