    ...don't bother with Concha.... it's as cheap as chips and very common and all over in a flash... your structure, when cleaned up, deserves something a little better I think..

    I still like your idea of 'Mme A Carriere' which although listed as a climbing rose, behaves equally well as a rambler, it climbs and rambles, and is easy to train - not many thorns...   otherwise you could look at repeat flowering ramblers like 'Lady of the Lake'... and 'Ghislaine de Feligonde' which blooms all summer...    traditional climbers can be rather stiff in growth, and I think you want something that gracefully hangs down there...

    There's a member here called Busy Lizzie, who gardens in France, and I know she has 'Mme A Carriere' trained on a stone structure or wall with pillars, similar to yours.. and it looks very nice indeed...

    I thought of mme Alfred coz I had one before and liked it. It would go with a variety of clematis too 😊
