Viburnum Davidii

I have a viburnum davidii and I understand there are female and male varieties.  I would love to get the blue berries.  Do I just buy another plant and hope for the best or is there a way of finding out which shrub I have?

I had a group of 5 of them many years ago.
I did get plenty of flowers but only a few berries.
I did try and find out if there's a way of telling M from F plants, but as far as I know there is no way of sexing them, so it's down to luck. That was some 15 years ago though, so maybe things have changed since.
Lovely shrubs for the leaves alone.

I have often wondered too. I think it is hope for the best. Buy another shrub. If no berries after next year, it's a female plant you need to buy.
