Can I coppice pittosporum silver screen?

I have inherited some very big pittosporum silver screen which I'd like to hedge. Will they regrow if I coppice them ?

    Yes of course, right down to the ground if you wish... I presume you are in the United Kingdom, .. and that you are aware these silver leafed varieties are not quite so hardy, so drastic pruning should be left until May... unless of course you live somewhere more salubrious than I do...
