Sounds quite widespread. Same here in Yorkshire, gusty winds, sunshine and showers.

A beautiful dry morning in Central Scotland today. Blue skies with an air temperature of 9C however in the greenhouse it's 32C. Overnight outdoor temperature was 3C.

We only got a few spits of rain yesterday and it's not looking great for today - dull, breezy, not very warm but no sign of any rain - but it does mean I might get the grass cut. Or I might leave it until tomorrow when we're forecast cool but sunny.

Overcast but mild despite overnight snow and sleet.  33F climbing to 46F this afternoon.  Current snowpack measurements in the pasture averaged 17 inches, which was unexpected; I assumed we must be a foot or less at this point.  Temperatures expected to be in the low 50sF tomorrow.

What a glorious day. Warm, sunny, not too hot. Dog and I had a lovely beach walk, loads of people and dogs making the most of it. Lots of people just walking, no dog attached. Blue sky, sun and sea like a mill pond.
I managed to have a potter in the garden as well.
    Back to reality today.
Grey, overcast, boring, heavy rain again. It looks as if it has set in for the day.
A gentleman told me yesterday he was going home to build an ark! Not a bad idea.

Rain in the forecast for today. It's only just spitting a bit at the moment. Fingers crossed for some of the decent stuff. Even after a fairly wet (for us) few weeks the soil is still quite dry in the garden. I think the plants are using it up faster than it falls. Could do with a proper soaking downpour, or several.

  • I think most of us in the UK will be having rain today.

We have rain now, but the forecast for later.....
This is absolutely typical, with most of the rain skirting around us :'(
