Odd weather. Calm and cloudy but cold enough to make my hands numb in the garden. Warmed up when I went for a quick hill walk, feels like winter but hazel catkins and flowers are open and willow buds are popping open to the fuzz underneath.

  • The sun forecast did not arrive so it was grey all day, did get to 5° and stay dry which allowed me a few hours at the allotment.

Got to be honest, grey and depressing in Glos. 10 degrees at 2.30pm so pretty mild, the skies lightened and for a mad moment l thought we would see some sun, but that only lasted 10 minutes at the most.

It's been greyish so far here but much warmer than yesterday, up to 9 deg.

Apparently it’s been about 10degrees today, but it has felt colder to me. Looks fairly mild all week, except Wednesday which is forecast to be close to zero.
