Turned out nice with sunny intervals but stayed cool just 6° with a NE breeze but out of it was pleasant to sit in the garden and have a cup of tea.

Cold and dull, but there was no frost this morning as forecast (unless it had all gone by the time we got up!). Getting really cold now.

It was -5°, big frost this morning. Up to 7° this afternoon, sunny but still felt chilly. Dordogne.

Chilly - about 3 degrees in N. Cheshire. Dry, slight breeze. 3rd of January and no real hard frost to speak of all winter ..is it only a matter of time?
