Gloxinia stem growing brownish spots

Hi all!
Have been seeing these brownish spots growing on the leaves and extending upwards on the stem of my gloxinia plant. They are placed in a sheltered area and I water them about 2-3 times a week depending on weather. (I’m from Singapore)
Can advise what are they and what can I do? 😥😥😥

Thanks so much!!!

This is the area where it’s kept. They used to bloom pretty flowers but now there are 3 flower buds that just won’t bloom for past few weeks. 😞

Thanks so much for the advice in advance!!

  • I don’t grow them now but I used to.
I found that most problems were caused by over watering and also getting the leaves wet.
In my experience they are also quite hungry plants so feeding your plants may encourage more flowering. I suggest using tomato fertiliser as this will encourage flowering rather than leaf growth.
