Can I cut back Asters now?

Hello!

I have some purple coloured Asters in my garden (sorry, don't know their name!) and they have finished flowering now, and just have fuzzy heads.

Is it ok to cut them right back now? Do I need to leave a little bit or can it be to the ground?

If they are the Michaelmas daisy type, yes you can cut them to the ground. If they are annual asters (bedding plants) They will not flower next year so you can pull them out.
