wanting help identifying what is going on with my strawberry plants, as pictured, black marks on leaves and stems, plenty of flowers but immature fruit seems to be going black and dying.Have removed all mature infected leaves but new leave still affected. They are in a windy spot and only receive morning sun.Have been well fertilised with strawberry fertiliser.I have previously sprayed with a copper fungicide which does'nt seem to have helped, if position is a problem any suggestions of a berry or fruit better suited.

  • Whereabouts in the world are you?  Here in the UK strawberry plants have shut down for the winter.

I'd just remove the damaged leaves and see if they improve. You might be over fertilising too, so the plants may not be  coping with that well. If the ground's in good condition, they don't need that much food.
Sometimes developing fruits rot if they get very wet too.
What is the soil like that they're growing in?
I grow strawbs in spots where they don't get a lot of sun, and it's not really a problem. If you have plenty of pollinators they'll flower and fruit.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
