    Looks like gaura lindheimeri to me. Didn't do the poll as not sure It's a similar shrub to abelia.

    Looks like a Gaura, therefore not a shrub, it's a perennial. Definitely not Abelia.
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

  • Definitely a Gaura.  Keep out of the cold wind.  Lovely plant in a pot.
