ID and advice please?

Posts

  • Sorry posted before I could put in message. Can anyone please ID these and know how harsh I can be with cutting them back this time of year?
    Thanks
  • Sorry but your pic is so misty it is hard to see any details.
Please can you add clear close ups to show flowers and leaves.

Could it be some sort of heather? Hard to tell the scale.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Yes I thought that too... some manky old Tree Heather..
    East Anglia, England
  • Going by the dead leaves in the bottom left corner, it's a bit big for a heather, isn't it?  A photo in focus would be a great help though.

I don't think they belong to the plant in question …  some whipcord Hebe's look similar but I don't think it's one of those..
    East Anglia, England
  • I know they don't!  :D

I'm just using them for scale.
