Maris piper xmas potatoes

we planted some potatoes recently which should be in ready in time for Christmas sadly last week the frost got to them until then they look very healthy can anyone help me and tell me if we should leave them in or should we just  dig them out because they are now dead ? Look forward to your help

    Just bumping this thread up for @Geoff Hall 943 for any help that could be out there. Maybe too late now.  :/
  • depends on how much frost got to them, are the top leaves mushy and the ones below fine or is it mushy to the soil surface?
    if they're mushy to the soil then there is no return, harvest what you can.
    if there are still some leaves that look OK, then remove the damaged ones and hope for the best

    Maybe earth them up after the trim of the damaged haulm.Then cover with fleece to limit further frost damage..
