Can anyone identify this tree for me

    It looks like a European Aspen, Populus Tremula.

    Agree with Borderline....Populus Tremula...Aspen.
    Note the flattened leaf stalk that causes the leaves to flutter in the most gentle of breezes.
    Pick a leaf and roll the stalk between your fingers.

    Normally go a fab golden colour in the autumn.
