Shrub Identification

Can anyone advise the name of these 2 shrubs please? (3+1)

    The first is verbena bonariensis.  It's not a shrub but is perennial (at least in milder areas) so it will die back when the cold weather comes and hopefully regrow in spring.  If you're lucky (and not too quick to pull things up) you might get some seedlings too.

    The second is one of the shrubby salvias (there are loads of varieties so it's not easy to ID precisely).  Unless you're somewhere very mild it will lose its leaves in the winter.  Leave the stems alone until spring to protect the base, and then cut back to where new green growth appears.
