Greenhouse door problem

Hello,
I was fortunate enough to receive a free greenhouse recently. However, although the door runs freely on it, the door is only hung from the top and isn’t held in at the bottom. As there have been some pretty strong winds recently, this is a bit concerning.
It appears I am missing something, perhaps some wheels. As I’m not sure what the make is, I don’t know what to get. So I’m hoping someone might recognise this door and might have some ideas as to what piece I need to get.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

In your third picture, they’re should be something that fixes to the bottom of the door then extends into the runner, like a little wheel,   do you know the name of the GH, you can google for spares.
Something like this, you can write to any of them and explain what you need.

  • I agreee although the slot in the base doesn't look big enough to hold a wheel so it may be a simple L shaped piece of aluminium needs screwing to the underside of the door so part of the L goes down into the slot.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Thanks very much for your advice. I think I will try the wheels and hope that they aren’t too big.
  • I have a similar problem. I inherited a greenhouse when we moved house and I've no idea what make it is. What annoys me is the fact that no one appears to sell replacement greenhouse doors no matter what make of greenhouse.
To stop the door falling off in the very high winds here in Cornwall I have to jam a heavy bag of sand up against the bottom of the door and lean an old interior door up against the top of it. Looks terrible but it has ridden out the storms so far.
