Compost

Hi Everyone
My council have restricted how much compost I can take. Got quite a few planters to empty that bedding plants have been in over summer.
I have no room for a composter.
Any tips what else i could do with it ?
Thanks

Have you any flower beds / veg patch you can spread it out over?

  • Yes. Will it be okay on the flower beds if i sieve out the roots?

It'll be fine ... if you're all all concerned about the possibility of Vine weevil larvae being in there then spread a tarpaulin or plastic sheet out on the ground and tip it out onto there first, spread it about and leave it for a couple of days ... the birds will have a feast ... then you can mulch your borders with it.  :)

Hardly a cloud in the sky earlier, but a wee bit overcast now.
