when do we cut these of and pop them in the cold greenhouse for the winter?

    As far as I know we cut them back then leave them in the ground - they're hardy perennials and are ok down to -15c.

    They are hardy enough. You just need to keep the slugs off the new shoots in Spring. I surround mine with crushed baked eggshells.
