What type of tree is this

Hi 
can someone help me identify this tree, I think it’s a type of hornbeam but could be wrong anyone know?

I'd say you're right, Hornbeam. A close up of the foliage would be useful to be sure.

Iv had a look online and comes up as a frans Fontaine hornbeam, I'm looking to purchase one and wanted to make sure, when's best to plant trees?

Now is the best time for planting trees ; the ground is still warm(ish) to encourage and stimulate root activity .

If pot grown , open up the roots a little with a garden fork .

Don't forget to water regularly and thoroughly at least for the first year ; sporadic rainfall is grossly insufficient .

I believe these trees are fairly young Carpinus betulus fastigiata.
A better name should be  Carpinus betulus pyramidal ....cos that is the shape.
They start beautiful and slim ....as they get older they get huge.... fatter and bulbous at the base., while at the top it is pointed.

Only plant these trees if you have a lot of space.
The foliage is very dense...if you put it anywhere near a house it will make the rooms very dark inside.
